The Law Office of Melvyn J. Williams represents clients in Atlanta, Georgia, and surrounding areas, in all aspects of Criminal Law, Family Law and Personal Injury Litigation.  Attorney Williams has a vast amount of litigation and trial experience in each of these areas of law, and has successfully handled thousands of such cases for well over 27 years.
The Firm focuses on the unique legal issues facing its clients, and determines the best course of action to take in each case in order to reach a favorable resolution.  In the event a case cannot be settled, and eventually has to go to trial, Attorney Williams will aggressively defend your rights and represent you in as efficient and practical a manner as possible.  If settlement of a client’s case is appropriate without the intervention of the courts, Attorney Williams will strive to amicably resolve that particular case through mediation, arbitration and/or negotiation.

Prior to deciding to enter law school, Attorney Williams earned a Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University in 1988.  While pursuing his graduate degree, and developing an increased interest in "Law," Attorney Williams realized that individuals needed affordable legal representation in order to gain equal access to the court system.  Attorney Williams decided to pursue a career as a lawyer in order to address the inequities in our legal system.
Attorney Williams obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Memphis, College of Law in 1991.  After receiving his law degree, Attorney Williams worked as an associate attorney for the law firm of Hillman J. Toombs & Associates. After two years, Attorney Williams decided to open his own law firm that would focus on obtaining favorable results for his clients by providing experienced and cost-effective legal representation.
